One of the major attractions in the region is the rare morning glory cloud. The southern part of the Gulf of Carpentaria – between Burketown and Normanton – is the only place in the world where this unique cloud formation can be predicted and observed regularly. Our staff can give you information on local fishing and crocodile tours, as well as point you in the direction of the best walking tracks and watering holes. We also host a variety of family-friendly social events at our caravan park, including formal nights, market days, weekly bingo and craft sessions. 

Unwind after a big day of fishing, swimming or exploring with a cold drink and a delicious meal in our fully licensed beer garden. Open from 12pm—7pm every day, we offer hamburgers, fresh fish and chips, grazing platters and much more. Come and enjoy everything Karumba has to offer—we look forward to catching up!
